We designed several unique holiday themed screen prints for LA’s chapter of Smorgasburg. These designs were inspired by the art of henna tattooing, coloring books and the venice surf culture along with some added holiday cheer. These one-off prints will be located in the entertainment area. Smorgasburg has been featured on several intertnet press junkets including VICE’s own Munchies.
Smorgasburg launched in May 2011 as a spin-off of Brooklyn Flea, the popular flea market founded by Jonathan Butler and Eric Demby in 2008. Every Saturday and Sunday from April through November, Smorgasburg showcases 100 local and regional food vendors to upwards of 10,000 visitors per day, making it one of the most popular tourist destinations in Brooklyn. Smorgasburg and the Flea attract a million visitors a year to their weekend markets across the borough.
